Lora Shimp, Immunization Practice Director at JSI, is a global health specialist with more than 30 years of experience in immunization, maternal and child health and health systems strengthening. Her expertise includes end-to-end immunization program design and implementation, new vaccine introductions, and vaccination roll-out and uptake. In close collaboration with Ministries of Health and partners, her work has strengthened routine services and supported the spectrum of service delivery, from microplanning to health worker competency-building to community engagement. She brings this landscape view to numerous global and regional technical advisory groups and has worked with more than 20 countries across Africa, in India and in other regions.
